May 20, 2023: Jenkin’s Family Tribute Vintage Speedway and Karts, Presentation Video

May 20, 2023 saw the Jenkin’s Family Tribute Vintage Speedway and Karts event take place at Illabo Motorsport Park.

Ken Jenkins (Snr’s) exploits in the 60s & 70s, along with his two sons, Troy & Darren, in later years both making names for themselves with a collection of State & National titles to their credit meant we drew a great crowd of spectators to the event.

The day’s program featured the Jenkins family trio in Speedway Cars, along with Ken’s grandchildren in karts, taking to the track for some demonstration laps after the main presentations.

During the presentation, we drew our 50/50 Raffle, then presented certificates and small gifts to the Jenkins Family (including their wives), and then Life Memberships to Gasworks Motorsport Inc were conferred on to Joe Belling and Trevor Allan.
