Our featured guest for the 20th May Vintage Speedway Tribute meeting at Illabo was to be Max Dumesny, who is now unavailable due to work commitments.

However THE GOOD NEWS is the Jenkins Family Tribute meeting, originally scheduled for August this year, has now been brought forward to our next meeting on 20th May 2023.

Early indications from the speedway faithful are that this is a very popular choice, with Ken Jenkins (Snr’s) exploits in the 60s & 70s along with his two sons, Troy & Darren, in later years both making names for themselves with a collection of State & National titles to their credit.

The program on the day will feature the Jenkins family trio taking to the track for some demonstration laps which will make for another great photo opportunity for our Vintage Speedway enthusiasts.

An official program with events will be published and be available at the gate.

Speedway Australia Permit Event for Vintage Speedcars for all Vintage Speedcars, Compacts, Modifieds, Sprintcars, Classic Rear Engine F500’s & all other AVCSNB sanctioned categories.

Speedway Karts

The Junior Speedway Karts will again be featured on the program.
